PHP/WordPress Developer  

Job Requirements:
  • Experience in design, development and deployment of web applications using LAMP stack
  • Sound knowledge on object oriented PHP is a MUST.
  • Strong competence in WordPress CMS is mandatory. Must have solid experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development with clear concept of Custom Post Type, Settings API, Shortcode, Widget and WordPress Hooks.
  • Competence on front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript for implementing modern responsive web templates.
  • Familiarity with CSS pre-processors like LESS / Sass and CSS frameworks like twitter bootstrap / foundation.
  • Familiarity with other PHP based CMS/Platform like Drupal / Joomla / Megento will be an added advantage.
  • Working experience on PHP framework such as Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgniter / Yii / Cake PHP etc. is also nice to have.
  • Working experience with Git
  • At least 2 years of professional web development experience is required.
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Self managed, independent, initiative and proactive.
  • Previous experience working in a Agile/ Scrum team is plus.
  • Given the international nature of the environment, fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • May need to travel to Europe.
Educational Requirements:
  • B.Sc/ M.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering from any reputed University or equivalent practical experience.
